KOA NEWS SERVICE (September 22, 2015) – Deer hunters looking for a clean, comfortable base camp this fall can find the perfect solution at the Ludington East/Pere Marquette River KOA Campground in Branch, Michigan.

The campground, located at 11713 West 40th Street in Branch, is also in the middle of the 1.26 million-acre Manistee National Forest. The National Forest has a huge population of whitetail deer.

This fall will be the first season the KOA campground has been available as a base camp for hunters.

The Ludington East/Pere Marquette River KOA Campground offers Cabins, recreational vehicle sites with electricity, tent sites, access to water, a camp store, hot coffee in the morning, home cooked hot meals on weekend evenings, deer hangs, a hunter’s lounge, bait piles and hot showers.

The Ludington East/Pere Marquette River KOA Campground currently has a “Fall Free” special. Between now and Nov. 22, campers who buy one night of camping will receive a second night free, while supplies last.

“This special is not only great for hunters, but it’s also wonderful for ‘leaf peepers’ who want to get outside and view the beautiful fall colors along the North County Trail,” said KOA owner Lydia Fodor.

The campground also has special “Spooktacular” weekends in October, beginning with Mummify Weekend Oct. 2-4; To Be A Witch or Not Be A Witch Weekend Oct. 9-11; Count Wait To See You, Or Taste Your Blood Weekend Oct. 16-18; Apolcalypse Is Here Weekend Oct. 23; and Haloweeeeennn Weekend Oct. 30-31.
