Port Lavaca/Matagorda Bay KOA Holiday adds new splash pad and pocket park for 2021 season
Port Lavaca, TX (Mar 16, 2021) – Port Lavaca/Matagorda Bay KOA Holiday is introducing two new recreational items for camping guests to enjoy. The campground has added a splash pad and a unique “pocket park” with a number of games and elements designed to help campers have fun in the great outdoors.
Already home to a stunning private beach and pool, the new splash pad offers yet another way for campers of all ages to cool off. This new campground addition features six fun water features and unobstructed bayside views. Splash pad features include dumping buckets, playful fountains and more. Designed for accessible play, the new splash pad creates a sensory water experience.
Adults and kids alike will appreciate the campground’s new pocket park. Pocket parks are small parks built right into the layout of the campground to promote family play and fun no matter your age. This fully-designed recreation area includes outdoor ping pong, 4-way ping pong and a foosball table.
Located on beautiful Carancahua Bay, the new additions to the campground join a host of other amenities including golf cart and kayak rentals, shuffleboard and a playground. The campground also offers pizza and wings right on site for hungry campers.
The campground offers a number of ways for guests to camp including waterfront RV Sites, RV rentals, cozy Deluxe Cabins and even a unique Glamping Tent.
